The blogger's recommendations really help avoid unnecessary detours! As a native of Suzhou, I’d add: definitely rent e-scooters beforehand—it makes navigating much easier since there are no shared bikes in some areas like Pingjiang Road and metro stations might be far away.

Where exactly do you recommend renting these e-bikes?

Are there any specific hotels/accommodations you'd suggest?

I stayed at Yinxing Yisu Inn on Guanqian Street—great location, clean rooms, and friendly owners!

Wow, how strange! Our itineraries ended up being identical without us coordinating beforehand.

Is the Twin Pagoda Market the same as the Twin Pagoda Temple?

Nope, the market is more like a food street while the temple is a small religious site.

Can I see what kind of camera was used for the photos?

Haha, not possible from here—but it was Canon!

If I plan to visit Xiyuan Temple, Suzhou Museum, Pingjiang Road, Twin Pagoda Market, and Jinji Lake in one day, would that be feasible?

Yes, if you start early but it will be quite rushed.

Thank you so much for this detailed guide—I’m taking my parents next month and wanted to follow this itinerary but worried about them walking too much. Which spots may not be suitable for elderly visitors? Is staying near Seven Li Shantang okay?
