Suzhou's traffic is genuinely terrible. I just got back yesterday, and it's chaotic everywhere with no one directing traffic. E-bikes aren't just being ridden, they're practically flying! I even saw cars making sudden U-turns on Pingjiang Road.

Last time, I went to Tiger Hill in the afternoon, walked all the way from Shantang Street.

Taking Line 6 subway to Tiger Hill is much faster. Trying to get a taxi near attractions is a nightmare because of the heavy traffic.

So, is there ever a time when the Humble Administrator's Garden is less crowded? I've bought a combo ticket for it and Tiger Hill for tomorrow.

It's not just tough for tourists like you... Even for us locals, getting around is a struggle. The traffic is a killer, especially on weekends. We usually rely on the subway or e-bikes.

I had planned to visit six or seven attractions, but only managed two in the morning when it was less crowded. Last night, I went to Shantang Street for a boat ride, and sure enough, it was packed. I thought, 'Forget the boat, I'll just take the subway back to the hotel,' but then the road was blocked off.

And so, I ended up walking over 30,000 steps that day.

Don't just casually complain about the traffic; the places you're visiting are perpetually congested.

Are your traffic lights always this awful? I took one wrong turn and it took me half an hour to get back on track. And are the red lights seriously two minutes long each?

Went to Xiyuan Temple and Hanshan Temple today, and the traffic was a complete nightmare. E-bike horns were blaring non-stop, pedestrians were rushing to cross the streets, and the bus took forever to arrive. Also, Suzhou's bus routes have some really creative naming schemes, like 'Day Line,' 'Night Line,' 'East Line,' 'West Line,' 'Line A,' 'Line B'...

I was at my wit's end right at the entrance of Xiyuan Temple.

Haha, on the streets of Suzhou, my 65-year-old mom actually got back on a bicycle!
