It seems to be all Japanese or Western culture here. I don't recall seeing any Chinese cultural elements, which feels a bit like cultural invasion.

There's a Chinese handicraft and folk art shop downstairs from Tsutaya Books.

Isn't Qiaocun in your photo a Chinese restaurant? Tianmuli actually has several Chinese restaurants; it's not all Western cuisine.

That's why I said it's mostly Western food.

It's actually pretty nice to work here.

A view from JNBY's perspective, looks like Buildings 5 and 6.

Alright, alright. Look, Wanda Plaza is probably more your style for hanging out. Tianmuli just isn't for you.

Haha, just last month I bought a canvas bag there for ¥69 and a ring for over ¥300. Seems like they'll do anything to draw people in these days, no shame at all.

The type of people you're recommending this for? They're generally the same crowd.

That place really tries to be all mysterious and exclusive. As for buying things in those quirky, oddball shops, I figure there's only one explanation: it's not your own hard-earned money.

The stuff there is really so expensive.

Okay, but hear me out: 1) Many people online have pointed out this is the JNBY headquarters, designed as an open work campus. 2) Inside, you've got Caimiduo, Guizhou cuisine, a seafood noodle place, Haojiu Haocai, Bitao, and Lishi – all of which are Chinese restaurants! If that's not enough, there are even more options across the street, and on weekends, food stalls often feature Wenzhou snacks and other treats. 3) The real highlights of Tianmuli are its architecture and greenery. Now, some might find these aspects just average, and well, there's no accounting for taste – aesthetics are subjective and endlessly debatable.

It's good for a leisurely stroll.

The 'Da Pai Dang' (food stalls) at Wanda Plaza in Chengbei would probably suit you better.
