#WordToTheWise: #TaiwanJuneToOctHardPass

Wow, I must tell you that the current weather in Taiwan is even unbearable for us! And it just so happens to be summer vacation -- a time when students are off for extended breaks -- so there are people everywhere, which takes away much of the enjoyment of travel.
I truly recommend: If you want to have an enjoyable experience in Taiwan, it's best to wait until after October, when the weather cools down and there are fewer people around.
- It's really hot during the day now 🫠
- Important reminder! Don't even think about leaving an air-conditioned room to do any outdoor activities before the sun goes down.
- Otherwise, you'll feel like you might melt away like an ice cream!

I'm heading back to Taipei next week. I told my sister I wanted to take the kids to the zoo, and she was like... 'Are you crazy?'
-
If I were your sister, I'd say the same thing.
-
I'm thinking of visiting in mid-October. Will it still be very hot?
-
It should be a little bit better 🤏, but I'm just worried about a possible 'autumn tiger' (Indian summer heatwave).
-
If I go to Taiwan in early October, will there be a lot of typhoons, rain, and that sort of thing?
-
There should be slightly fewer typhoons than in summer.
-
It's so hot, I'm actually embarrassed to invite friends over to visit.
-
Hahaha! So true. When you host friends, you have to accompany them everywhere, and right now, just stepping out of an air-conditioned room during the day takes a huge amount of courage
-
If you're looking to lose some weight, come on over!
-
It's not so terrible that you can't visit, is it? Which city isn't hot these days, anyway? Unless you're talking about dedicated summer resorts? Of course, it's going to be hot traveling anywhere in summer. Even Tokyo is unbearably hot...

Anyone traveling to Taiwan during this unbearably hot summer is a true warrior.
