Taiwanese People: Surprise! They're NOT What the Internet Says.
-
So, you can't always trust everything you read online.
-
I'm in Taiwan right now, and most people have been super friendly. Just the other day, my mom was saying how kind and welcoming Taiwanese people are, and then bam! We ran into a really nasty bus driver, and it totally ruined my mood.
-
Maybe some drivers are just exhausted, or perhaps that's just their personality. Don't let someone you'll likely never meet again spoil your mood! Hope you have a wonderful trip.
-
When I traveled to mainland China (Shanghai, Sichuan, Shandong), my friends there were incredibly welcoming! One girl even told me, 'I love Taiwanese people the most!' I was so flattered~~~ Planning to visit Beijing next year, really looking forward to it!
-
Taiwanese girls are so gentle; when you talk to them, you find yourself speaking more softly without even realizing it. You're welcome to visit Chongqing, hahaha!
-
If online comments aren't a bit dramatic, how will they get any clicks? I've been to Shanghai and Beijing, and most people there were pretty friendly. Every place has its good and bad apples.
-
It's true, every place has its good and bad people. I guess I've just been lucky enough to mostly encounter the good ones.
-
I'm curious, what exactly are people saying online??
-
There's always good and bad, I suppose. Truthfully, other people's opinions don't matter as much as your own personal experience.
-
It's often a two-way street with these things. You must be a very warm and kind person, so people around you are naturally good to you in return!
-
Give out love, and love will return; send out blessings, and blessings will come your way. I'm also very happy to have met such a group of lovely and kind people.
-
It takes all kinds to make a world. Just as 'reading ten thousand books isn't as good as traveling ten thousand miles,' the sights you see and the people you meet on your journey will leave a lasting impression on your heart. Wishing you a wonderful time and a safe and smooth trip!
-
Thank you so much! I wish you happiness every day as well.
-
Good people are definitely the majority worldwide; bad ones are just a small minority. The first time I went to Zhuhai, the hotel staff had to help me – I didn't even know how to hail a cab! I even asked the driver how to pay with Alipay, LOL, so embarrassing!
-
Hahahaha, you'll get the hang of it after using it a few more times! When I was in Taiwan, I was also surprised that some shops actually accepted Alipay.
-
Urliving's cats are just incredibly cute!
-
Is that a brand name? The shop I visited was Pazzo.
-
Wishing you a wonderful and enjoyable trip in Taiwan!

Aside from the rainy season being a bit disappointing, everything else has been wonderful! 🥳
