Ok, give me the title.

Alright, I have something to share about this experience!
I heard that the CityWalk route along Wukang Road and Anfu Road is very popular, so I decided to join the crowd today.
A little knowledge for you: Both these streets are located in the former "French Concession" area of Shanghai. They feature beautiful old buildings and trendy small shops, which is why they are very popular. Many people enjoy walking and taking photos there, which we call CityWalking.
To be honest, the route itself isn't too bad, but I probably won't be walking it a second time.
-
Oh my! It's just unbelievable how many people are here! It's extremely crowded on weekends.
- If you're like me, not particularly interested in crazy picture-taking or "checking-in" (which means uploading photos to social media as proof you've been there), you might find it — well, just okay.
- To be honest, unless you're specifically there for photographing architectural exteriors, you might think it's pretty unexciting.
-
Personally, I believe staying cool in a street-side coffee shop or pub would be much more relaxing than pushing through the crowds!
- (This is purely from my personal perspective. Don’t hit me if you love taking pictures!)
Important Travel Tips & My "Complaints"
-
Super-Crowded Warning!
- Problem: There are simply way too many people, especially on weekends or holidays. You can barely take a step, let alone admire the scenery.
- Solutions: If you still want to go, try early morning on weekdays instead. Otherwise, you may get submerged in a sea of people.
-
Attention, non-selfie enthusiasts!
- Problem: The main attraction on these two roads are those photo-friendly buildings and shops. If you aren’t a big fan of selfie-taking, you might feel disappointed. It's just a matter of expectations.
- Solutions: Lower your expectations or go off the beaten path to explore nearby quiet alleyways. There might be some surprises waiting for you. Or, as I mentioned earlier, find a comfy cafe or small bar and soak up the ambiance.

My Honest Advice:
- If you prefer leisurely strolls absorbing city vibes, adjust your mindset because this spot may not be a great fit for you unless you particularly enjoy bustling atmospheres or being at "trendy" places.

You're better off checking out Yuyuan Road, the North Bund, Xintiandi, or Jing'an Temple.
-
Alright, I'll definitely check out Yuyuan Road next time!
-
I think Duolun Road is quite interesting.

Could you tell me more? I'll be in Shanghai for another day tomorrow and still haven't figured out where to go.

This used to be just an ordinary spot in Shanghai, but it's been hyped up online in recent years. It's perfectly normal if you don't feel like visiting again.
