We have a colleague like that. When she travels, she posts at least twice a day, and she's almost always posting updates about her kid too. It just feels a bit too frequent. Go travel, post if you want, but there's no need to overdo it.

When you're traveling, you just post what you feel like sharing. You see something new, you want to share and remember it. So, posting several times is perfectly normal. It's not always about showing off, though I can't deny that happens sometimes. I see people posting about their kids on my feed too, and I totally get it. They probably just want to document their child's growth. When you're a mother, your child is your whole world, and every little moment feels worth recording.

You know, when I was booking, I did ask friends to help, but I actually managed to snag all four of our tickets myself, including the high-speed rail tickets to Beijing and back from the Great Wall.

I hardly ever post on my Moments—maybe once a year, if that. With friends, I just share photos and videos directly in our chat groups. As for platforms like Xiaohongshu or Douyin, I post there sporadically and without any real pattern, but I rarely include people in those posts because I don't want acquaintances to see them.

Chat histories can be deleted, and content on other apps might disappear, but posts on Moments are generally there forever.
