Alright, let me fill you in on this place, so those of you who are planning to visit can listen up!

This place, to be honest, is actually quite small. A day here is more than enough for you to have a full tour.

    • The scenery is quite photogenic, decent enough for a few great shots.
    • Heads Up: After 6:30 PM, access to the beach is prohibited due to either safety measures or management rules, so don’t get disheartened when it’s closed.

    Now let’s talk about accommodations:

    • If accommodation isn't a priority, local "homestays" (small hotels run by locals, similar to a bed and breakfast) are inexpensive. Just make sure you mentally prepare yourself as the quality can be mediocre at best.

Not much variety when it comes to dining:

    • Besides familiar chains like McDonald’s and KFC, there are streetside "Shawarmas” (outdoor food stalls with distinct local flavors).
    • ⚠️Special Warning: Never order seafood at these street stalls!
      • I was once overcharged by RMB 600 for a single dish, and this isn’t uncommon. These places prey on tourists by hiking up prices.
      • Opt for a reputable restaurant for seafood or avoid seafood entirely if you don't want unnecessary annoyance.

    Now to wrap things up:

    • This destination is decent for snapping photos if you're already in Shenzhen, a bustling metropolis full of modernity; a casual visit could certainly brighten your day.
    • However, if you aren’t from Shenzhen and plan to drive (self-driving tour), bear in mind the distance can be quite far.
    • If you take public transportation, the hassle might not justify the trip.
    • Unless you plan on staying for multiple days and have numerous nearby attractions or interests to visit, this place might not warrant such a special journey specifically for it.

Honestly, I think it's way better than Judiaosha. You've got seashells here, plenty of spots for photos, and it's not as crowded. Really perfect for pictures.

But it's fantastic for photos in the summer! I visited the observatory, then went swimming at Beach No. 3. Over at Beach No. 4, I watched some surfing, grabbed a drink, and just chilled. Overall, a pretty good experience. When it came to food, I stuck to group deals – too scared of getting ripped off ordering individual dishes.

It's decent for photos, but that's pretty much it.

I was just there last Friday. If you can, book a hotel. Steer clear of the guesthouses – they're generally dirty, messy, poorly maintained, and swarming with mosquitoes. You'll get eaten alive staying in one.

Absolutely. The environment in those guesthouses is really... let's just say it's less than ideal.

You get better photos here than at Judiaosha; I've been to both. This place is also much larger than Judiaosha.

But it's still not very big.

Recommendations might be fake, but warnings to steer clear are definitely genuine. After all, who complains for no reason?

600 for a single dish? Post a pic, let's see it!

                        Is the transportation convenient?

                          That's a rip-off! 600 for a single dish.

Which restaurant charges 600 for a single stir-fried crab dish?

The second restaurant from the left, on the very outer edge.

Why can't we be near the beach at 6:30?
