  • In terms of pricing, to be honest, after comparing with online prices, I didn't actually find any particularly great deals. The prices were essentially on par with online shopping.
  • Here's the crucial part, pay attention!
    • When purchasing products there, mostly there's no quality guarantee whatsoever - meaning if your purchase breaks, don’t expect anyone to assist in repair.
    • Forget about after-sales service, there’s none! Once you buy something and encounter an issue, chances are the vendor won’t take responsibility anymore.
    • The biggest hassle is that you cannot see product reviews by other buyers like you can when buying online. Thus, the quality of the items you get mainly relies on luck and your discerning eye.
• To cut a long story short, the trip made me realize that buying goods might as well be done using Pinduoduo (a popular Chinese shopping app) once I'm back at home; where if not satisfied with the products, I can return them! At least I could always try my luck, right?
