Alright, I totally get the feeling! Let me help you share this with our overseas friends to make them chuckle:
Before my visit to Suzhou:
- My mind was all set on the "Water Town of Southern Jiangnan." I imagined those charming scenes from TV shows, with small bridges, flowing streams, ancient houses and canals.
- With a fine drizzle or two thrown in for good measure, it would have been a poetic piece of perfection!
- But what happened when I actually arrived in Suzhou...
- Important Travel Reminder!
- Oh my mother, the wind was howling! It blew so fiercely that my already glossy forehead felt like a mirror!
- Ladies, stay alert! If your hair is down, beware the strong gusts that can turn you into a 'Mei Chaofeng' – a character from old wuxia movies. With a messy hairstyle looking oh-so powerful, I swear this isn't exaggeration.
In other words, Suzhou:
- Visually, it's like an elegant, classical beauty.
- But inside, it might sneakily be into rock music, wild as anything!
