    Farewell Guangzhou 1

Let's be honest, everyone, please don't get triggered.

As a young girl who has personally experienced it, I think if you consider Guangzhou as a tourist destination, you might want to switch to another one. If you go through all the tourist attractions in Guangzhou, it will take at most two or three days, so there is no need to specifically plan Guangzhou as a tourist destination. If you are traveling around several places in Guangdong, then you can experience Guangzhou.

1️⃣ Firstly, the transportation in Guangzhou is indeed not as good as I imagined for a first-tier city. The elevated roads and ground roads in the city center are relatively old, chaotic, and congested in some areas. The urban construction in some parts also seems rather dilapidated, probably because Guangzhou started developing quite early. After two or three decades, it does look a bit worn out now.

2️⃣ Secondly, many signs in Guangzhou's subway are not clear enough, making it easy for out-of-town tourists to get lost (even though I am someone who frequently uses public transportation and am relatively young, I still got on the wrong subway line in Guangzhou). Moreover, the noise level in Guangzhou's subways is too high; it was so loud that I had to cover my ears.

3️⃣ The tourist attractions are neither densely packed nor scattered. You can roughly spend an hour at each place, and it takes about half an hour to get to the next spot. Also, I feel that apart from Beijing Road, which is relatively mature, places like Huaiqingfang are not yet fully constructed.

4️⃣ Lastly, I have to criticize Guangzhou's river management. I visited Huaiqingfang, Shamian, and the Pearl River, and many rivers are quite murky with an unpleasant smell. Although there are fish in the rivers, they still appear very polluted. Especially the fishy smell in the river is quite strong, and it feels like there is no proper management at all.

However, "Eat in Guangzhou," the food here is indeed pretty good, and it's not too expensive either, which could be a reason to visit Guangzhou.

But if you only come to Guangzhou for tourism, I wouldn't recommend it.

I hope everyone stays calm and doesn't lash out. Rational analysis and discussion are welcome.

      你所谓的广州,也就仅仅指越秀区天河区海珠区荔湾区黄埔区吧花都去了么,从化去了么,增城去了么,南沙去了么?
