Electric scooters alone are a massive headache.

Honestly, Guangzhou is dirty, messy, and chaotic, like a slum. Even the city center is like this – electric scooters everywhere, piles of trash, street vendors, and endless road construction.

It's your office and living situation that are subpar, not the city itself. If you could afford a better place and a nicer work environment, you wouldn't be complaining so much, dear.

So you think there are no electric scooters once you step out of luxury condos like Tianluan or Huiyuetai in Zhujiang New Town, huh? Clearly, your understanding of Guangzhou is pretty superficial.

The dirtiest, messiest, and most chaotic city in the whole country, hands down.

A disgrace to Guangzhou. No parking spots to be found, and an even greater lack of community spirit or warmth.

The unpredictable downpours are the absolute worst.

I seriously can't take it anymore. People urinating and defecating in public is a common sight – I always have to watch my step. The drainage is awful too; a bit of heavy rain and it floods, and the stagnant water is disgusting. It's unbearable.
