Locals often take a stroll there after dinner in the evening.

Welcome to Guangzhou! The old town is great for desserts and authentic dishes like white cut chicken. For beautiful scenery, Zhujiang New Town or the Panyu Wanbo area are usually recommended.

I should have asked for food recommendations before I went. For three days, it was pretty much just dim sum or cha chaan tengs.

          It's nice for a walk.

Yeah, enjoying the evening breeze there is really pleasant.

So Yanjiang West Road has become a 'check-in' spot too, huh?

Yeah, I searched for 'Guangzhou night views' on Xiaohongshu, and it popped up as a recommendation.

If you're just looking to take 'check-in' photos, there's a route starting from Shamian Island, then to the Customs House, Nanfang Building, Aiqun Hotel, Sacred Heart Cathedral, and the Star HUAN Plaza platform – takes about an hour or so.

You don't think this is beautiful? The Customs House and the Shamian Island area are gorgeous!

I used to pass by here almost every day.

If you pass by it every day, you'd definitely get tired of the view.
