What's the weather like in Shanghai from mid-July to mid-August?

Don't buy anything labeled 'Shanghai specialty snacks' – those are usually just for tourists.

That's right, especially those so-called 'Old Shanghai' small restaurants around the Bund and Nanjing Road. They're mostly tourist traps.

I'm planning to visit Shanghai at the end of June. I'm wondering if it will rain, as I want to go to Disneyland.

Just avoid all the tourist attractions.

I was just there a couple of days ago. My only observation is the scarcity of squat toilets. It's not that sitting toilets are a problem, but they really need to be clean, and some in the malls were a bit dirty.

I'm pretty much a homebody, so I enjoy eating Malatang. My go-to spots are Jing'an Xiaoting, Jiang Ji, and Liu Wenxiang. If I'm taking the kids out, we go to Happy Valley.

There's a place called Jiu Jiu Xiao Chao near Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. It's a bit of a 'hole-in-the-wall' spot, but all their dishes are freshly stir-fried. If you decide to go, make sure to get there early to queue, about an hour before peak mealtime.
