Whoa, Shanghai Just Got Terrifying. WTF?
-
Wow, the city of Shanghai is truly impressive!
- The streets are bustling with people and full of vitality, yet surprisingly, it feels inclusive, as though everyone can find their place.
- If you're a driven individual constantly striving for more (sometimes jokingly referred to as a "rolling king," someone who's particularly diligent in pursuing excellence), then this place is ideal for showcasing your talents.
- Of course, if you just wish to lead a peaceful life on your own terms, there will definitely be a corner of Shanghai that caters to you.
- I sometimes find this city large and seemingly distant; but simultaneously, it feels warm and familiar, close enough to tug at my heartstrings.
- This is just how much Shanghai has won my heart!
The photos below were taken at these locations, which I highly recommend visiting:
- Shanghai International Shipping Center (a building shaped like a large egg)
- Lujiazui (a financial district with plenty of skyscrapers, such as the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, et al.)
- North Bund viewing deck, ideal for taking in the picturesque view along the Huangpu River
- East Changzhi Road, a historic street
- Lalaland, a shopping and entertainment center boasting a huge Gundam model
- Sail Park, located near the China Maritime Museum
- Riverside Promenade, great spots for walking, sightseeing or admiring the river scenery
- Pudong Avenue, one of the main roads in the Pudong New Area.

I knew it was Si Laoshi (Teacher Si) the moment I saw it! You really know how to find the best spots... You've truly captured the essence of Shanghai. I'm hooked on your profile; I just can't get enough. You're so skilled at photographing Shanghai, like a human GPS – your shots are incredible! I'm officially a hardcore fan.
-
In that case, I've got to follow Si Laoshi! Could you recommend some fun and photogenic spots in Shanghai?
-
A perfect match—Shanghai, the city of the future.
-
Wow, this shot is absolutely fantastic!
-
I really want to visit Shanghai.
-
Just follow Route 318 straight ahead, no turns needed. Drive all the way to the end, and you'll hit The Bund. You're welcome to come visit!
-
Honestly, after living here for a while, it doesn't feel that special anymore.
-
I feel like other places are better than Shanghai – they have mountains, scenic waters, and great food. It's a shame I was born here; my whole life is in Shanghai, so there's not much I can do about it.
-
Shanghai gives me such a strong will to live.
-
Is it that fast-paced vibe you're talking about?
-
@encounter. At first glance, I thought the first picture was AI-generated!
-
You have to queue up just to take photos when this place gets crowded, which is why I've never been.
-
@鱼鱼鱼 P1 (the first photo) looks so futuristic!
-
I was just here a few days ago. At the time, all I could think was that everything around looked like giant silver 'eggs'!
-
Inclusive... really?
-
So inclusive! [Thumbs up]
-
The least inclusive city in the entire universe.
-
@Dira (seen the GA version 4 times), I need to go back to the Magic City (Shanghai)!
-
Yes, hurry back!
