So envious! I still have another day at the Forbidden City tomorrow, and I can barely walk anymore.

Attended the flag-raising at dawn, went straight into the Forbidden City afterwards, then the Old Summer Palace in the afternoon. I walked so much I felt like sparks were flying!

Is it cold enough to wear a woolen coat, dear?

30,000 steps every day for 5 days. The happiest moment each day was collapsing into bed.

So true! The best part is finally lying in your own bed at home.

It's true, every tourist visiting Beijing can't believe that exploring just one major attraction a day can be utterly exhausting. But when we Beijingers travel elsewhere, it's the opposite – everything seems so small and close. We can visit several places in a day and still have time left over, wondering where to go next!

Just getting from the Summer Palace to Universal Studios feels like a journey in itself. Besides Beijing, only Shanxi province gives me that same feeling of vastness – you definitely need to self-drive there.

Totally! I just took a walk around my neighborhood today and, oh my god, 13,000 steps already!

This afternoon, after leaving Beihai Park, I had to walk endlessly through the hutongs to get to the subway station. They were so, so, so, so long! I was about to break down. There were no share bikes anywhere, and I was absolutely exhausted.
