I really vibe with Beijing, I absolutely love this city. No matter how tired I get, I still love it. Beijing's size isn't its fault; it's mine for not having enough legs.

Beijing is seriously huge. Normally I walk about 5,000 steps a day, but in Beijing, it's easily 20,000+.

I love Beijing. After just three days here, I feel like my lack of 'yang energy' (vitality) has improved. I'm walking 30,000 steps daily without feeling tired, sleeping soundly, and eating well.

Going to Beijing wouldn't help me; I'd just feel more stifled.

If you're consistently unhappy in Beijing, maybe head south. Find a scenic place with beautiful mountains and clear waters to explore, and see if you can find a 'vibe' that suits you better.

That's even worse! You have to walk like a kilometer just to transfer subway lines, many stations don't have elevators, you need to book everything in advance, and even the starting fare for a taxi is pricey.

It must be really cold in Beijing now, right?

It's a great place for a long stay, but not to settle down permanently.

When you're feeling down, go climb the Great Wall. Seeing that magnificent, winding structure makes you realize how small you are, and somehow, the depression lifts.

Exactly! That's the feeling. Suddenly, life's little worries don't seem like such a big deal.

I'm from Hubei and have been in Beijing for ten days. I love it and don't want to leave. Beijing is great, I'll definitely be back!

And you should definitely visit the Lama Temple (Yonghegong) too!

I haven't figured out what I'd wish for yet, so I haven't dared to just go. Seriously.
