Wow, I never expected my last post to receive so many responses and understanding from my friends!

Here’s the explanation for why I feel “bored”:

    1. I actually work in the tourism and culture industry, so I’ve pretty much been around all of Guangzhou's big and small attractions such as various parks and old streets. I have visited the famous Canton Tower (that uniquely tall tower that’s a symbol of Guangzhou) countless times, more than any other local people I know! Local jokes often say "real Guangzhou people don’t go to the Canton Tower," hehe, I have already broken this "curse" several times! Therefore, the freshness has indeed diminished.
    2. Another reason is that I underwent minor heart surgery several years ago, and my doctor prohibited me from doing any intense workouts till present days. So activities suggested by my friends such as mountain climbing would not be an option for a while. Without hopping around too much, fewer choices of leisure activities lead me to feel bored more easily.

However, things came into a fresh progress! I really agree with what one of my friend said: "with a companion, there will always be something fun wherever you go." Therefore, I immediately arranged to meet up with friends. We enjoyed delicious desserts and chatted about recent interesting events (or as we call it, "gossips", the passing of secrets and new stories), wandering slowly from daytime to night🌙. It was indeed an overly happy day!

Maybe next time, I can share the small joys and episodes in weekend life again!

    Wishing everyone a great weekend!
PS: By the way, I am super satisfied with my makeup that day!😎

Guangzhou is definitely boring, especially if you're just city walking by yourself.

Other than playing mahjong, setting off fireworks, or maybe shooting some pool, there's really not much to do in Guangzhou.
