Certainly! Here you go, arranged in an easy-to-understand manner and appropriate for foreign friends:

👉 Some reflections and tips on Shanghai:

    • Hello everyone! Just got back from a trip to Shanghai, and here are some of my feelings that I'd like to share with you all:
      • 🙅‍♂️ Exclusion? Not at all!
        • Previously, I read online that visitors might not be warmly welcomed in Shanghai. However, I did not feel unwelcomed during this visit! Everyone appeared friendly. (Of course, as a tourist, my experience could differ from locals. 🤔)
      • 💰 How's the wallet?
        • Compared to my experience living in Guangzhou (a major city in southern China), prices in Shanghai seem a bit higher. Nonetheless, they still fall within my acceptable range and aren't outrageous.
      • 🥼 Fashionistas Galore!
        • Young people in Shanghai are truly stylish. Their fashion sense amazed me on the streets.
        • Speaking of the 'laid-back vibe,' (which implies a relaxed, non-tense atmosphere), what stands out to me is that many people in Shanghai don't seem rushed with work commitments, appearing rather relaxed. Amazing!
      • 🛵 Great Bicycling Experience! (Highly recommended!)
        • Experiencing a shared bicycle service (you can unlock bicycles with a QR code) in Shanghai was fantastic!
        • Whether it's the new or old parts of the city, there are numerous dedicated lanes for bicycles and motorbikes.
        • ⚠️ Please keep these important points in mind!
          • Unlike in some cities (such as my hometown, Guangzhou, where pedestrians always need to be cautious of motorcycles on the sidewalks 😅), motorcycle collisions are a rare issue in Shanghai, making cycling safer.
          • Avoiding trouble: In Shanghai, you can have more peace of mind when using the designated lanes for non-motorized vehicles. In other cities, exercise caution to avoid motorcycles speeding by on sidewalks and at intersections while walking or biking.

I hope you find these reflections and tips useful! #ShanghaiImpressions #TravelSharing

Shanghainese, xenophobic? Please. In Shanghai, we're the underdogs – we can't even speak our own dialect freely.

It's true, the dialect is practically going extinct. My wife is from Shanghai. It's the same in Guangdong – Mandarin everywhere, and Cantonese is becoming rare.

Claims that Shanghai is xenophobic are just stereotypes.

That's mostly just online bluster; I've never encountered it in real life.

As someone from Guangzhou who worked in Shanghai for 5 years, I found the locals not xenophobic at all. Overall, it felt very comfortable, and people respected personal boundaries. Ultimately, though, I returned to Guangzhou to help build our own international metropolis.

I've been to Guangzhou, and it's indeed quite nice.

When you're strolling along the Bund, pay special attention to No. 12 – that's truly the most magnificent building there.

Thanks for all the attention on our building! There are genuinely so many hidden details and stories behind its floors, ceilings, and glass pillars. And if you're inspired to open an account, deposit money, or take out a loan after your visit, that would be even better! Hahaha~

I'm from Guangzhou. Shanghai's urban planning is better than Guangzhou's; the subways and roads are cleaner and less crowded, and there's a lot of greenery in the city center. However, Guangzhou has many old urban areas with a large population, so public facilities tend to be quite old.

Shanghai's Line 11 is unbelievably crowded.

As a tourist in Shanghai, why did I feel like people (not sure if they were locals) wouldn't even give me a proper look? It gave me a very snobbish vibe. Is it because I'm unattractive and look poor?
