Wow, the parking fees in Shanghai really opened my eyes!
- When it comes to Shanghai, everyone recognizes it as a bustling metropolis. But some things here are indeed "lived up to their reputation" to the point of being slightly unbearable... especially what I am going to discuss—the paid parking lots!

Heads up for visitors to Shanghai!
- If you are planning to rent a car or bring your own vehicle for your trip in Shanghai, prepare yourself mentally because the parking fees, especially in the city center, popular tourist attractions, and commercial areas, can be absolutely extremely expensive!
- How to avoid being “shocked”:
- It is best to check the approximate cost of the parking lots at your destination in advance using a mobile app.
- In Shanghai, both the subway and buses are super convenient and cover almost all places you might want to visit, so strongly recommend prioritizing public transportation.
- This experience really made me feel... sometimes this world is just a little too puzzling, hahaha! That’s not to say charges shouldn't exist, but when it comes to some prices, they do seem a bit… “ridiculously high”!

Seriously, if you have friends visiting from out of town who want to rent a car, I'd strongly advise against it.

Aren't these just basic things everyone should be doing? It's kind of funny how people break the rules and then blame them for being too strict.

90 yuan for 6 hours... That's right next to Taikoo Hui. Isn't 15 an hour actually pretty cheap for that location?
