Friends! Let me tell you, I've totally "surrendered" to the food paradise of Guangzhou!
- Can you believe it? The moment my eyes open in the morning, I feel possessed and subconsciously grab my phone to order breakfast!
- (Whispering: Ordering food through mobile apps is incredibly convenient in Guangzhou. From dim sum and desserts to porridges and more, it's hard to stop!)
- My stomach just doesn't suffice! With the most I could manage being four main meals plus a dessert per day, I still feel hungry!
- (As you know, Guangzhou folks usually have breakfast tea, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, and maybe some late-night snacks—choice paralysis is real!)
- I'm even dreaming about which meal to enjoy the next day! Too many choices offer a sweet yet painful experience.
- Unfortunately, there are so many local specialties, such as rice rolls, boatman porridge, roast goose... My hungry tummy just couldn't handle them all!
- Weight? I dare not stand on my scale anymore. The number is sure eye-opening!
- Therefore, I decided to swiftly "escape" this delicious but "dangerous" city!
Caution: Pay Special Attention if You're Trying to Stay Fit
- Warning: This is truly a huge challenge for those trying to lose weight or maintain a dieting plan! The temptations are too hard to resist!
- How to avoid 'falling into temptation':
- It's best to have mental preparation beforehand since you'll find abundant options for meals here.
- Try walking more after dining or sharing food with friends, this way, you can taste different dishes without overindulging.
- But seriously, feel free to indulge occasionally since traveling is about enjoyment. Just don't go overboard like I did!
- Can you believe it? The moment my eyes open in the morning, I feel possessed and subconsciously grab my phone to order breakfast!

Guangzhou is seriously dangerous!! The moment you step out in public, you're practically forced to donate blood. It's terrifying, especially when you only realize after they've drawn your blood that you've got a massive welt – it's scary as hell!
