Alright, it's really time to bid farewell to Shenzhen好好地说声再见了!
This trip to Shenzhen was fantastic, and I’m definitely planning to come back again next time for even more fun! #Shenzhen
A reminder for friends who are visiting Shenzhen for the first time:
- Shenzhen is a hyper-modern city located in southern China, right next to Hong Kong. It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re interested in high-tech and new architecture. I certainly had a great time here this trip!
️ Travel Tips (旅行小贴士):
Payment (支付方式): Mobile payments (like WeChat Pay or Alipay) are extremely common here, and some small shops may not take cash or offer change.
- What to do: Set up your mobile payment beforehand or prepare some loose change just in case. Foreigners might find it easier using Alipay's Tour Pass or linking their overseas card to Alipay.
Transportation (交通): The subway network is highly developed, making it convenient to get around.
- What to do: Downloading a subway app (such as the official “Shenzhen Metro” or Didi/Douyin maps) would be very helpful, assisting you in route planning!
️ Language (语言): Most tourist attractions and malls have English signs, and many young people may understand some English.
- What to do: However, learning a few simple Chinese phrases (such as "你好 Nǐ hǎo", "谢谢 Xièxiè", "多少钱 Duōshao qián?") will make your journey smoother, and the locals will appreciate it. A translation app can be very useful as well!
Weather (天气): Shenzhen summers are hot, humid, and may include typhoons.
- What to do: Drink plenty of water, use sunscreen, carry an umbrella for both sun protection and rain. Monitor the weather forecast when visiting in summer.
In conclusion, Shenzhen is a great city, and I look forward to coming back soon!
