Beijing Travel: Heartbreak Included.

Oh my goodness, I didn't expect this!
- Before leaving home to check the Beijing weather before my departure, the app clearly showed clear skies, which made me excited to come over.
- What happened? When I arrived in Beijing, it was true that there was sunshine, but the air was hazy. This is not exactly the clear blue sky and fluffy clouds as I imagined!
Friendly Tip for Foreign Visitors:
- Sometimes, when Beijing forecasts "sunny", it might only mean no rain and sunlight can reach through.
- However, this does not entirely mean good air quality. Even on "sunny" days, a bit of fog or light smog (haze/smog) may appear, in which case the sky is not perfectly clear.
- So if you expect a cloudless sky with a clear cerulean blue, apart from checking weather forecasts, also keep a little eye on air quality index (AQI) for a more accurate expectation!

The comment section is flooded with ads, and they all use similar phrasing. I can't keep up with deleting them. Please be discerning when you see them.

Sharing a pic from yesterday – it was super foggy too. Had to rely heavily on post-processing to try and fix it.

You edited it so well! Could I use your photo?

The weather's been great these last couple of days, and I had nothing much else to do, so I went and spent another two kuai.

The most beautiful sunset I've ever seen in my life was at Jingshan Park. So, I've decided I have to go to Beijing every autumn!

Good weather guarantees great photos! Just sharing a quick collage from the Summer Palace.
