**Value Your Life? Then Hard Pass! This is a GIANT NOPE.**

Alright, take my advice – the "Hopeless Slope" in Suzhou is really a place that makes you regret visiting once you step there; don't go there by any means! This area wasn't developed as a proper tourist attraction to visit. Going there is like tempting fate!
How terrible is it?
- The entire slope is covered in loose gravel and rocks, making it extremely easy to slip and fall without taking caution, leading to easy injuries!
- In addition, there's absolutely no safety measures like railings or stairs anywhere on the hill! Just thinking about it makes me shiver in fear.
- The path towards the summit of the slope isn't even called a path; you have to climb upwards with hands and feet holding onto trees or rocks to grab between the rocks. This is not a leisurely stroll — it’s true wilderness climbing!
- I tell you, when I was climbing, I looked like a baboon just learning to walk, moving on all fours, hunch-backed, with no decent image whatsoever!
Who might dare the challenge? (But still not recommended!)
- Compliant with poor physical fitness, rarely engaging in sports activities friends, please, don’t go to risk your head!
- If you are an experienced climber who is proficient in outdoor activities, even if you decide to go there, make sure to make light progress and ensure all possible safety measures! For instance, wear professional mountain shoes, put on gloves, and ideally, go with companions.

- Safety cannot be guaranteed: this place seems not to be officially open to the public (I'm not completely certain about this point, but I feel like that's the case). So in case of any accidents, such as injuries, I guess there might not be anywhere for compensation complaints! It really means being responsible for all consequences literally.
- Not impressive scenery: after braving all hardships up the top, the view is just ordinary. At night, you might see a sea of city lights; during the day, some small hills surrounded by houses, roads, even factories can be seen. It isn't worth the risks.
- *Downhill is even more dangerous: Don't think that reaching the top is enough, coming down is where the real nightmare begins!
- Option 1 (The original path): going back with the steep gravel-covered slope. Just imagine—going up was so difficult, how much faster and dangerous might going down be! Even the slightest unintended move could mean tumbling down!
- Option 2 (Going around): taking an extremely long route downhill, which takes around three hours. With huge expenditure of energy.
- *Photographing with drones might lead to conflicts too: On the top of the slope, someone wanted to take photos with a drone; yet, security guards ran over saying they weren't permitted to fly anymore, otherwise, the drone would be brought down. Why such restriction, we don’t know, nor dare to interrogate them.
In the end, let me start my moaning mode!
I want to awaken those who have been bragging online about this place first thing! I'd also like to vent at departments who clearly knew the risk but did nothing! All negligent security guards! As well as every blind follower who followed to suffer! Of course, my friend who dragged me along with and my own overbold boyfriend too! Last but not least, myself, the big fool!- #Do not go to this place by any means!
- #Please take me as a lesson in caution
- #Who climbed it regrets, you’ll be exhausted after it
- #Help shield others from this trap
