Shanghai's Most Overhyped Restaurants: All Hype, No Bite? Name One! 1

Alright, everyone who passes through Shanghai, let's talk about a "wrenching" topic!

Have you ever encountered those seemingly magical restaurants in Shanghai that are hyped up online with elaborately Photoshopped images?

    • Ones that seem alluring and impressive – as if not going there would equate to losing out!
    • How did it work out? Even with all the flashy moves, after spending the money and eating, your mood was left feeling down-in-the-dumps. The taste is…. hmm, truly indescribable; so bad it's making you question life itself!
    • Such establishments, epitomize being kings of marketing but beginners in culinary skills. They rely solely on packaging and promotion, with their taste seriously lagging behind.
    • Let's launch a collaborative "mine-picking" sharing conference:
      • Each list one restaurant you've been disappointed by! Simply nominate the once-famous yet taste-wise disappointing Shanghai eateries.
      • We label all these "pitfalls", creating a "⚠️ Shanghai Gourmet Minefield Guide (Tourist Version)"!
      • This way, visiting Shanghainese friends, as well as us ourselves, can effectively bypass these "food assassins", protecting our travel mood and wallets from being spoiled!
    • Don't hold back, be bold and speak your mind! It's truly a great deed to help save people's money and appetite. #ShanghaiGourmetTruths #Curing False Marketing Of Internet-Famous Store

@Wokenkenken Why does everyone say it's bad? I thought it was delicious.

Cila: poor service, not good value for money, and the food was just mediocre.

StarLondo at Garden City? Even a dog wouldn't go there.

That's a bit much! It's just that good, affordable places are becoming rarer...
