An account like this? Definitely needs to be blocked and reported.

That's really going a bit too far.

I'm from Guangdong, and when I went to Beijing for Chinese New Year, I heard Cantonese everywhere. For a moment, I almost thought I hadn't even left the province!

Same here! Today in Beijing, I heard Cantonese everywhere. Even on the high-speed train back to Tianjin, the people next to me were speaking Cantonese. I thought I was still in the south!

You should probably uninstall that translation app...

Using the word 'disgusting' is a bit inappropriate! If you don't like it, you don't have to come.

As a foreigner, perhaps you shouldn't be so picky.

What crowds? There was hardly anyone there yesterday evening.

Generally, there are fewer people around late November or mid-December.

So, when are there fewer people? Are weekdays crowded too? I'm planning to visit sometime in the first half of this year.

When I visited Beijing during the pandemic, there were very few people. The Forbidden City was practically empty.

Beijing during Chinese New Year? Of course it's going to be crowded!

Actually, Beijing isn't crowded during Chinese New Year! Most people go back to their hometowns, so the main streets are pretty quiet.

Beijing locals don't even dare to go out then.
