Try selecting off-peak season tickets. I also kept checking and didn't see any tickets released until I asked customer service yesterday.

Avoid the Humble Administrator's Garden during the Dragon Boat Festival. It's so crowded you'll only see people. Pick a different one.

I've booked the Suzhou Museum, so I'll explore the nearby attractions too. Everywhere is packed during holidays, but what can you do? We working folks (literally 'oxen and horses') only get a bit more time off then.
