People in Guangdong must be immune by now, like their bodies have evolved. The mosquitoes have to target newcomers to survive, otherwise they'd starve to death, hahaha!

The mosquitoes are probably saying, 'New arrival, fresh pork!'

I feel like mosquitoes love to bite 'heaty' people (a traditional Chinese concept for having excess internal heat). In my class of 50, I'm the only one they go for.

You should come experience the mosquitoes here sometime!

😂 As a local, I can say I've 'donated' my fair share of blood too.

From what I've seen, the locals all have smooth, long, slender legs with absolutely no bites.

I got 20 bites in one day, even though I used repellent! It's because I only missed my lower legs, and all 20 bites are right there.

My husband is from the Northeast and has been in Guangzhou for 17 years, and the mosquitoes still absolutely adore him, hahaha! I highly recommend you try Aolejia and Thai White Label Oil.

I guess our Northeastern blood really is sweet and fragrant after all!

It's purely down to your body constitution.

Are we like a new flavor in town or something? Is that why every single mosquito wants to come have a taste?
