Well, just take my advice: if you visit the Chimelong Park in Zhuhai first (an extremely famous theme park brand with locations in both Zhuhai and Guangzhou), you might be somewhat disappointed by Chimelong's facility in Guangzhou... it can really bring about a certain psychological letdown.

We booked a room at the Chimelong Hotel, but we found that the service staff seemed unfamiliar with many things, and would often not understand our questions either.

As for the zoo itself, it doesn't hold many extraordinary attractions; rather, there are countless souvenir shops.

The animals? Most seem rather lackadaisical, sleeping through much of the day.

- If booking accommodation at the Chimelong Hotel in Guangzhou, ordering takeout won’t work (a popular service akin to Foodpanda or Uber Eats).

When compared to the excitement levels at Chimelong in Zhuhai, the staff here seem much less spirited.

In general, while there are plenty of areas where money may be spent, it is overcrowded, the animals are underwhelming, and overall the experience falls short compared to their attraction in Zhuhai.

I asked the guy at luggage storage the other day – they handled over 4,000 pieces of luggage. It must be incredibly tough work for them.

The facilities aren't as good as Zhuhai's. You can't find your luggage; they just have hanging tags. In Zhuhai, the tags have flashing lights.

Seriously, the staff at Happy World are just awful... no comparison to Chimelong Zhuhai.

It's true. Asking them feels like a waste of time; you're often worse off than if you just looked for things yourself. Plus, the Chimelong Show is much more tightly paced than the Grand Circus.
