I won't comment on the rest, but why do you assume most of the beautiful women in Nanjing are not locals? Did you check their IDs?

May Day Suzhou: Human Jenga?! š± Grab This Anti-Trap Guide ASAPā¼ļøIn the morning, you can visit Xiyuan Temple to offer prayers. It's a temple very popular among Suzhou locals, and it's said that prayers made there are quite efficacious. Plus, the temple is home to many cats, so you can enjoy some cat-petting time. Additionally, Xiyuan Temple is renowned for its vegetarian noodles and buns (though they are a bit on the sweeter side, typical of Suzhou-style sweet noodles).

Seriously, what's the deal with the non-stop 'China Travel Warning' posts?I'm so over 'avoid this' posts. Most of the time, I've never encountered the issues they warn about, like taxi drivers rigging their meters. But I think every city probably has some dishonest drivers. I also don't understand people who call other cities 'run-down.' Every city has its less glamorous areas; older cities naturally won't look as new and shiny. As long as it's not excessively dirty or chaotic, it's fineāand often, tourists contribute more to the mess, making sanitation workers' jobs harder. Most locals, unless they're truly inconsiderate, cherish the city they grew up in. As for food, it's ridiculous to tell people to 'avoid' something just because it doesn't suit your personal taste, unless it's a rip-off joint, a place with severe price gouging, or unhygienic. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean others won't!

Shenzhen... Seriously, DON'T Go Unprepared!!I only saw all these comments saying Shenzhen isn't much fun after I'd already bought my plane tickets for Chinese New Year.

Guangzhou? Yeah, no. Once was PLENTY.Alright, friends. I made my way from Shenzhen to Guangzhou specially to check things out, and I discovered... Well, to be honest, the cities of Shenzhen and Guangzhou left me with a rather similar impression in terms of cuisine.
However, after some web research, I found a place called "Pei Ji Snack Shop." Their egg noodles (a distinctive Guangdong noodle that is typically deep-fried then cooked again) are indeed very tasty! I highly recommend them - the taste was truly authentic when I tried them for the first time. By the way, the double-layered milk pudding (a smooth and milky sweet dessert) is also worth a try in Guangzhou.
As for some places to check out:
- Guangzhou Zoo, which I personally think is quite worth it!
- Money-saving tip: Buy tickets through their official account on platforms like WeChat, and you'll pay only RMB 20 per person.
- You can see lots of animals, including giant pandas; it's such a good deal!
For other sites, most of them seem like typical "must-visit" locales- the type where people just come, take pictures, and leave.
- Because I really enjoy taking pictures, they were alright for me.
- Warning: If you're not into visiting places solely for picture-taking, you may find these spots somewhat boring.
All in all, I don't think I'll make a special trip back to Guangzhou, though it definitely had its moments - hahaha!
