That's not true, right next to the site of the First National Congress of the CPC is Hefei Road.

Shenzhen: Even Dogs Wouldn't Go (So Why Should You?)Flying from Hefei to Shenzhen. The on-time rate for this flight is only 33%. After reading the comments, I'm genuinely worried that my flight, scheduled to arrive a little after 1 PM, might not land in Shenzhen until 3 or 4 PM. I'm already mentally prepared for a delay.

WTF Does This Mean?! China Translation SOSI was constantly going to interviews, taking the subway all over the place every day. Eventually, I found a job I really like. During my internship, after deductions for social security and housing fund, my take-home pay last month was 4.6k. This month, it'll probably be a bit better, around 4.9k. I'm due to become a permanent employee next month. Now, I don't feel like leaving Shenzhen anymore. After work or on weekends, I've explored so many fun places in Shenzhen (I've practically turned into a travel blogger, haha!). I've also met a lot of great people. It's such a vibrant city, very welcoming to young people. I feel like it's a place where hard work genuinely pays off.

Guangzhou Metro: Kicking Off My Trip with a Surprise Dose of Good Vibes!I think Shanghai is even more ridiculous; many stations don't have escalators or elevators for going up or down.

Guangzhou? Yeah, I'm Good. Won't Be Back.+1 I came from Shandong to Guangzhou for an internship last November, with no friends here. I found my first job, but the boss was incredibly exploitative. I quit after two months because I just couldn't take it anymore. I had insomnia and anxiety every night back then; it was a harsh lesson for a fresh graduate like me. I went home and basically did nothing for over two months to recover. I returned to Guangzhou this March, switched jobs several times, and now I'm just waiting for my lease to end so I can save some money and leave. Haha, my 'southern adventure' seems different from others; all my initial drive has been completely worn down.

Guangzhou? Yeah, I'm Good. Won't Be Back.Hey friends, let me share with you my experience in Guangzhou.
• Many people say that Guangzhou is an incredible city, with a vibrant life atmosphere. (I agree with this. The food in Guangzhou is simply amazing and has no equal.)
• However, as a newcomer just starting out, I might really have some adjustment issues.
• My company is located in the Panyu District.
• You probably know that the Panyu District is a big area in Guangzhou. It may not be close to the central city, but life there is still very convenient.
• My monthly rent is 1200 RMB in a small alley.
• That alley is pitch-black, with a strong sewer smell permeating it.
•Beware, friends, especially those who intend to find accommodation in old Guangzhou districts or village areas inside cities:
• After rain, that alley becomes flooded with water, mixing up rain, sewage, garbage, dog droppings, and all sorts of disgusting things.
• Each time I step into the alley, I feel like a small mouse struggling to survive in a stench-filled gutter. What a pity.•
I have another thing to remind those who come to work in Guangzhou:
• The bosses of my internship company love speaking Cantonese (which is different from the Mandarin we usually speak) while chatting with each other or discussing technical issues.
• Feeling-wise, they seem to have a slight disdain for people who don't understand Cantonese, starting a Mandarin sentence and suddenly getting switched to Cantonese channels. I just had to stand there and stare in bewilderment as someone from another place.
• To those of you who plan long-term development in Guangzhou, learning some phrases in Cantonese might help you better integrate into local life and job environment.Honestly, during my time in Guangzhou, I basically only wanted to snuggle in my small rented house with warm lights, without any desire to anywhere, let alone dressing up and doing makeup.
So, I decided to say goodbye to Guangzhou earlier! Maybe this city is not suitable for me after all.

Guangzhou Chimelong: Jan 25 - Reality Check! We ordered four takeaways, and the delivery fee was 25 yuan for all of them.

Hangzhou? Seriously, Don't.Poor West Lake gets so much flak. 'Avoid it if it rains!' 'Too hot? Avoid!' 'Mosquitoes? Definitely avoid!' 'Don't know how to appreciate beauty? Avoid!' 'Didn't do your research? Avoid!'

Whoa, Shanghai Just Got Terrifying. WTF?Wow, the city of Shanghai is truly impressive!
- The streets are bustling with people and full of vitality, yet surprisingly, it feels inclusive, as though everyone can find their place.
- If you're a driven individual constantly striving for more (sometimes jokingly referred to as a "rolling king," someone who's particularly diligent in pursuing excellence), then this place is ideal for showcasing your talents.
- Of course, if you just wish to lead a peaceful life on your own terms, there will definitely be a corner of Shanghai that caters to you.
- I sometimes find this city large and seemingly distant; but simultaneously, it feels warm and familiar, close enough to tug at my heartstrings.
- This is just how much Shanghai has won my heart!
The photos below were taken at these locations, which I highly recommend visiting:
- Shanghai International Shipping Center (a building shaped like a large egg)
- Lujiazui (a financial district with plenty of skyscrapers, such as the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, et al.)
- North Bund viewing deck, ideal for taking in the picturesque view along the Huangpu River
- East Changzhi Road, a historic street
- Lalaland, a shopping and entertainment center boasting a huge Gundam model
- Sail Park, located near the China Maritime Museum
- Riverside Promenade, great spots for walking, sightseeing or admiring the river scenery
- Pudong Avenue, one of the main roads in the Pudong New Area.

Guangzhou: Total Letdown 😞I give up! I kept taking wrong turns all day and was exhausted. In the end, I just gave up and hailed a cab back to the hotel.

Guangzhou: Brace Yourselves, This City is a Total Mind-Bender.Do you have any clothes?

Lingyin Temple: Hard Pass Incoming!Lingyin Temple is managed by the Ethnic and Religious Affairs Commission, while Feilai Peak is under the West Lake Scenic Area Administration. They're two separate entities. So, you'd either have to petition the authorities, convince the head monk to donate the temple, or get the scenic area to hand over Feilai Peak to Lingyin Temple.
