A few days ago, I walked around Nanjing Road at night. Thinking about leaving the next day, I felt really sad. From the city's greenery to its traffic order, I found Shanghai to be better than Beijing in many aspects.

You're not looking in the right places. The brands you mentioned are typically found in lower-end malls. If you like Korean brands, that might be a bit harder to find in Shanghai, as locals aren't as interested in them.

There's something that has always baffled me: some people try to bargain for everything and then tell me it's because in China, you can even bargain for a bus fare. This actually happened.

Just hang in there. I've been working and studying in Shanghai for ten years. Like you, I spent two years in Beijing in between, and it was only when I came back that I realized Shanghai is what I truly love. It's been 7 years since I graduated college, and I'm now a 'New Shanghainese.' My base salary is nearly triple what it was back then. Looking back, I'm really grateful I stuck it out.

What kind of job is it?

I think the experience is quite good; it feels very high-tech and there are many interactive exhibits. Of course, a new museum will always have areas that aren't perfect, but I'm sure it will continue to be optimized and improved over time.
