    Sure, here's the translation:

Alright, no problem! Let me rephrase it for you so that foreign friends can easily understand while keeping your breezy tone!

🚫 Shanghai Wukang Road? Hmm... give it some thought!

šŸ˜” Hey, folks, today I’m going to talk about Shanghai’s Wukang Road and remove it from my list of recommendations.

šŸ‘€ I was really looking forward to Wukang Road, thinking it’d be full of charm. But after visiting personally, I was thoroughly let down.

šŸ’„ Firstly, let’s talk about people, oh my!
    - It's just unbelievably crowded! You can only see heads wherever you look; trying to take in the sights properly is simply not possible.
    - Forget about taking photos, too; every frame is packed with passers-by.

    šŸ˜• Now, those "internet-famous buildings"
    - These are old houses, widely talked about on the internet, with everyone rushing there to take pictures. To be honest, they don’t live up to their online reputation.
    - And you won’t get a moment’s peace around them because they’re thronged by all sorts of folks. There goes the chance to appreciate the historical atmosphere of old Shanghai!

🄤 Street-side cafes and small shops?
    - Prices are generally quite high. Whether it’s a cup of coffee or a small trinket, you’d have to think hard about if it’s worth the price.

šŸ™…ā€ā™€ļø In summary, my suggestion is:
    - If you come especially to Shanghai for Wukang Road, I advise you strongly against it; you might find yourself disappointed. šŸ˜•

āš ļø Special reminder & tips for foreign friends:

    • What’s ā€œWukang Roadā€?
      • This is a well-known street in Shanghai featuring European-style buildings from the early 20th century and shady avenues. Many young people and tourists go there to snap photos, so it’s popular on social media.
    • What does ā€œinternet-famous buildingā€ mean?
      • An ā€œinternet sensationā€ is someone or something that gets widely spread through the internet, so an ā€œinternet-famous buildingā€ is one that’s been greatly admired among netizens and often shows up in internet photos.
    • Main issue: there’re too many people!
      • It’s very difficult to take nice photos without other tourists around, especially during weekends or holidays.
      • How to avoid this? If you really must visit, try going early in the morning on a workday; it might be less crowded.
    • Manage your expectations:
      • Photos online may have been improved, so they're often more beautiful than what you’ll see in real life.
      • To avoid disappointment: explore other similar streets which are less crowded, like (you can fill in more street names based on the advice given by locals or hotel staff).
    • Consumption tip:
      • The prices at street-side cafes and souvenir shops may be higher than other places.
      • How to save money: eat and shop elsewhere, or look up prices and reviews on review apps beforehand.

I hope the modified version will help anyone planning a trip to Wukang Road! #ShanghaiTravelTips #WukangRoadExperienceShare #Don'tGetCaughtOffGuard

This place is mainly popular with people from out of town.

I was specifically looking for a comment like this from a Shanghai local. It wouldn't feel right if I couldn't find one.

This is where people live, it's not a tourist attraction!

Exactly! My friend lives there and they barely dare to open their windows anymore because of all the people.

You can find thousands of similar, ordinary buildings on European streets. I've never seen foreigners flocking to the Wukang Mansion to take photos and 'check in'.

I'm not sure when it got hyped up into an internet-famous attraction; it never used to draw crowds like this.

It used to be a diving platform.

You probably just didn't pick a peak time, so of course, there weren't many people.

Were the people edited out of the photo, or have there just been fewer visitors to Shanghai lately?
