Honestly, there's a lot of disappointment internally.

I really wouldn't recommend going to Dapeng during peak holiday periods. On the way back, I heard someone set off in the morning and didn't even get to the scenic area until after 6 PM. Plus, hotel prices are insane during these peak times – easily one or two thousand, sometimes even several thousand a night! It's a classic case of too many people chasing too few options. You're better off just packing a tent and going camping!

I've been to Shenzhen, but if you're talking about the vibe, it really can't compare to Sanya.

One more drawback to add: the lack of dedicated lanes for non-motorized vehicles. The sidewalks, less than two meters wide, are chaotic, with e-bikes darting in both directions. Pedestrians constantly get honked at, which is really frustrating.

Where exactly in Dapeng is this?

I didn't dare to ride the Winged Coaster either. I was screaming my head off on it, and everyone else in the car was laughing at me.

Only a few intersections are like this; overall, Shenzhen is quite considerate in its traffic design.

Seriously! Back at my old hospital, fewer people worked on Saturdays and Sundays, so we could take turns having days off. But here in Shenzhen, they don't allow weekend days off—everyone has to work.

I don't know about that. When I'm out enjoying milk tea or other drinks, there are always so many people smoking. I also end up inhaling secondhand smoke a lot when walking on the sidewalk. Maybe it's just because the places I frequent are crowded.

The best way to enjoy Shenzhen is to find a nice spot with a good view, like a cafe or tea house. Just sit down, enjoy the scenery, chat, read, or browse your phone, and then head to a nearby restaurant for a meal when it's time.
